The school was established in January 1994 by the various congregations of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Tema. It became a government-assisted school in January 1998. It is a co-educational institution situated in Community 11, Tema.
The Crest is that of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana modified thus: At the Centre of the Cross is a symbol of a Light lighthouse illustrating the industrial character of Tema. At the foot of the cross is an open book symbolizing knowledge. Knowledge promotes civilization, which is the buttress of industrialization.
The school colors are White and Royal Blue. White stands for Trust, and Blue represents Calmness and Assurance. Thus the school aims at producing scholars who are reliable in all aspects of human life, calm, and knowledgeable to further socio-economic development.
