KNUST opens admission for exciting MPhil and PhD programmes in Education

The Faculty of Educational Studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced the opening of admission to several new postgraduate programmes in Education.

The programmes include PhD degrees in Educational Planning and Administration, Mathematics Education, Language and Literacy Education, ICT Education, and Science Education.

The Faculty is also offering MPhil degrees in the same subject areas.

The new programmes aim to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills to conduct research, teach, or take up leadership roles in education.

The MPhil programmes are offered on a weekend basis to cater to working professionals.

Students will learn from leading academics and researchers in a vibrant intellectual community. 

“We are excited to offer these new programmes to aspiring educators, researchers and leaders. Our goal is to provide a transformative learning experience and create opportunities for students to advance knowledge and practice in education,” the KNUST Faculty of Educational Studies commented.

The new programmes add to the Faculty’s existing undergraduate and master’s degrees in education.

Students can choose from a variety of specializations, including Mathematics, Science, ICT, Languages, and Social Sciences at the basic and secondary education levels.

The Faculty aims to inspire and shape future teachers, educators and policymakers.

Applications are now open for the PhD and MPhil programmes starting in the next academic year.
