Tema Secondary School is a day and boarding school established and commissioned on 22nd September, 1961, by Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. The school is located between Community Two and Five. It is about 200 metres from the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) hall. The students’ population stands at one thousand, eight hundred and seventy-three (1873) with staff population of one hundred and sixty-nine (169). In addition to the Academic training, students participate in co-curricular activities and are encouraged to form approved clubs and societies to occupy them during their leisure periods.
