The school used to be a private institution called the Lake View Senior High. It was absorbed by the Government in September 2017/2018 academic year, and is now a full-fledged Public school located at Adumasa in the Juaben District of the Ashanti Region, near Bonfa junction on the Kumasi-Konongo Highway
