The school was established in 1981 led by the Old Boys and Girls Association of Teshie Presby Schools, supported by the Presbyterian Church, Teshie. The then Presbyterian Boys Middle School (Salem) was converted into the Secondary School. Initial enrollment was 70 students (35 boys and 35 girls). In 1984 it became a Government Assisted School with its first headmaster Mr. Solomon Anang. The school is located at Teshie Salem, adjacent to the Presbyterian Church (Peniel).
