The motto of the school 'Nyamesuro na Nyimdzee ma kanko' literally means “the fear of God and Knowledge bring progress”. The common greeting in the school is “As-salamu Alaikum” which means “Peace be unto you” and the response is “Wa alaikum salaam” which means “And the same peace be unto you too”.
