Kpone Community Senior High History (KPONESEC)

History of Kpone Community Senior High

Kponesec Community Senior High School was established as a private school in 2014 at the Kpone Methodist Junior High School. The indigenes hatched the desire to develop a secondary school in 1992.

The late Alhaji Antie Tetteh, who was the District Chief Executive of Kpone Katamanso District Assembly, contacted one Mr. Out, an educationist, to establish the school. Mr. Otu then invited Mr. Adolf Teye-Odartei, who became the caretaker Headmaster of the school.

Mr. Adolf Teye-Odartei moved the school from the Methodist Junior High School to its current location in October 2016. The school was absorbed into the mainstream public second-cycle school in the country in the 2016/2017 academic year and Mr. Wiafe Akenten was then appointed as the first Substantive Headmaster on 20 December and finally took over from Mr. Adolf Teye-Odartei on the 2nd February 2017.
