History of Bolgatanga Senior High
Bolgatanga Senior High School is currently within the Talensi-Nabdam District but was founded in 1970 in Zuarungu on the same campus presently occupied by Zuarungu Senior High School in 1970 with Mr. Bayala C.J. Yibrul as its first Headmaster with 75 students 11 of staff members: three professional teachers and eight supporting staff.
