Bandaman Senior High Technical School was founded in 1991, through the initiative of the local people of Banda Ahenkro where it was also nursed. The purpose of establishing the school was to make education at the second cycle level more affordable, and accessible at the doorsteps of the people.

To provide quality education to the Banda community, thus providing qualified scholars to take up responsible positions in the country
Vision
It is hoped that by the end of 2020 Bandaman Senior High Technical School would be one of the best second cycle institutions in the country.
