Awudome Senior High, Tsito Admission Process
New pupils are admitted in September every year through a computerized system under the control of the Ghana Education Service.
The system works based on the results of an entry examination known as the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E). This examination is held for junior high schools at various centres throughout the country.
Entry Forms for the above examination are obtained from the West African Examination Council (W.A.E.C) through the headteachers of the respective junior high schools within the country. Once the computerised selection process is completed, the list of admitted students are made available by the Ghana Education Service to the school. The list is then made public through the school’s notice board.
An opportunity is also given to foreign nationals who wish to apply for admission into the school through a written entrance examination organised by the school.
Students from other senior high school or fresh senior high school starter who wishes to continue the education at the school can also contact the school's adminstration through the contact list provided in the contact section of this page.
The school has two procedures in admitting students that got placement into the school, both procedures are explained below.
ONLINE ADMISSION
The online admission is to save parents/guardians the hustle of traveling to the school just to pick admission brochure and kit list. With our online admission system, parents/guardians can provide required infomation by filling an online admission form and their ward(s) would be enrolled without delay. Again, parents/guardians will have access to their ward's kit list on this website. This we believe will save cost and give you ample time to prepare for your ward to report to school on the reporting date.
The online admission comes with a processing fee of GH₵ 30.00. Pay through the school's MOMO number: 0540306405 (Account Name: AWUSCO MAIN ACCOUNT) before you begin the admission process. Please use your Index Number as the transaction Reference.

OLD ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Parents/guardians and students who for tangible reasons could not use the online admission system should adhere strictly to the following admission procedure:
- Come to the school in person.
- Check the name and other details of student on the admission notice board. (keep student's serial number and the programme offered)
- Proceed to the admission office (Office of the Assistant Headmaster Administration) for the admission brochure/prospectus. (NO CHANGE OF PROGRAMME IS ALLOWED AT THIS POINT)
- Submit your placement form to the Assistant Headmaster Administration.
- Proceed to the Assistant Headmaster Academic's office for your class allocation.
- Go to the Senior House Parents' office for kit list and other vital information.
- Student can now go home, prepare ADEQUATELY and report to school on the date stated in the admission brochure.
