Avatime Senior High was founded by Mr. Justus Kofi Boafo Adzotor in 1966. It was a community day known as Christ College. It was absorbed into the Public system in 1981. The motto of the school is ‘the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’.
Mission
To provide a holistic education for the youth of Avatime and its environs in particular and children from other parts of Ghana that will equip them to become independent and functional citizens of the nation.
Vision
To be the number one in organising teaching and learning activities to enable all our students qualify at the end of their programme of study to enter into university.
