History of Assin State College
The school was established in October 2006 as a private co-educational institution through the initiative and efforts of the chief, elders and some prominent opinion leaders of Assin Bereku who gave the name "Assin State College" to the school. Three years after the establishment, Assin College was absorbed into the public system in October,2009
