History of Adidome Senior High
The Adidome Senior High was founded on 1st October, 1985 with 57 students and 7 teachers as a Community Day Secondary School. It was fully adopted in January, 1991 as a Government assisted Public Senior High School. It is a Science Resource Centre for the North Tongu District now Central Tongu. The boarding department which started with five (5) students at the start of the 2005/2006 academic year, now has a population of 919 students made up of 445 boys and 474 girls. The up-grading of the school to a Model status has started yielding positive results in terms of increase in students enrolment.
